Installing Device Certificate (for GUID)

Target

• Customers using HENNGE Access Control
• Users using HENNGE Device Certificate

Purpose

• This article describes how to install a Device certificate.

Notes

1. This article is based on product specifications as of October 2024 and may be subject to change without notice.
2. Depending on the device and OS version used, there may be slight differences in the displayed screens.
3. If you reinstall the [Cybertrust DeviceiD for GUID] app, the Device ID will change, causing the certificate installation to fail. Therefore, it is necessary to keep the [Cybertrust DeviceiD for GUID] app installed until the Device certificate installation is complete.

Procedure

1. Open the notification email to install the HENNGE Device Certificate.

2. Tap the URL specified in [Step 1] in the email.

3. After reviewing the Cybertrust Device certificate terms of use, select [Agree].

4. Enter any 6 to 12 digit number to obtain the certificate.

※Please remember the number you entered as it will be used in Step 6.

5. Tap [Get Certificate].

6. Re-enter the number you entered in Step 4 and tap [OK].

7. Check [VPN and App User Certificate] under [Select Certificate Type] and tap [OK].

8. Specify the certificate name and tap [OK].

Tap [OK] with the pre-entered value or, if you want to make changes, enter an optional name and tap [OK].

The certificate acquisition is complete.

9. Confirm login using the HENNGE Device Certificate.
