Question
Please tell me how to issue an OTP and its expiration period.
Answer
There are 3 patterns for issuing an OTP:
1. Using an "OTP Generation Application"
Use a smartphone as the OTP authentication device.
Issue the OTP using the "OTP Generation Application" installed on the smartphone.
A different value is automatically generated every 30 seconds, and the expiration period for each OTP is up to 1 minute and 30 seconds.
※ The assumption is that the time on the device where the OTP Generation Application is installed is accurate.

2. Using an Email Address
Notify the OTP to the designated email address.
A different value is automatically generated every 30 seconds, and the expiration period for each OTP is up to 1 minute and 30 seconds.
For the setup methods for 1 and 2, please refer to the following online manual.

3. Using an "OTP Emergency Token"
Use the "OTP Emergency Token" that only administrators can check/set.(*)
(*) OTP Emergency Token
A one-time password that expires after one use. Once an emergency OTP token is used, it becomes invalid.
Multiple settings are possible for each user.
Setting/Checking the "OTP Emergency Token"
1. Log in to the HENNGE Access Control Administration screen with administrator privileges.
■The URL for the HENNGE Access Control Administration screen is provided in the service start notification.
2. Click on the left menu "Users" and then "User List".
3. Click on the pencil icon (edit) of the user you want to set/check.
4. Check the "OTP Emergency Token" on the "Edit User" screen.
※The "OTP Emergency Token" is displayed masked. Copy the value using the "Copy" button and check it in Notepad or similar.
※By default, 5 tokens are registered, but if you frequently use the "OTP Emergency Token", you can set more (up to 50).
※While it is possible to set any value, you cannot issue and use multiple emergency OTP tokens with the same value.
