What should I do when the log file that I have downloaded from HENNGE Secure Transfer is garbled?

Answer:

For the multilingual support, the Secure Transfer of log file (CSV format) is output with the character code [UTF-8].
When some problem occur, Excel has a garbled to open the CSV file with the character code [shift_JIS].
To open the log file without garbled, please follow the coping method. 

Open in Excel to convert the character code in the "Shift_JIS".

Save to convert the log file into character code [Shit-JIS] such as text editor. Then, open the file in Excel after conversion.

Explicitly open with the character code [UTF-8] in Excel.

1.Open the new Excel.
2.Click [Data] -> [Text file]. 

3.Select the log file and click [Import].

4.Change the following and click [Next].

Check [Delimited - Characters such as commas or tabs separate each field].
Select [Unicode(UTF-8)] in [File origin].

5.Change the following and click [Next].

Uncheck the [Tab] and check [Comma] in [Delimiters]

6.Click [Finish].

7.Click [OK]

This method is for Excel 2010, 2013 and 2016. It is possible that the method is deferent to depending on the version of Excel you use.
