How to use the backup features for HDE Email Archive?

Answer:

Our archive services provides a comparatively reasonable [Backup service subscription] to the users who are considering about [Long term mail retention].

The archive data included in the [Real time search period] contained mails stored in the status where the text is promptly viewable / downloadable at any time.

For the archive data included in the [Backup period] are stored in the storage field for long term retention. They also can be searched and be listed up in the search result, however, the text cannot be promptly viewable / downloadable. It needs to be restored (extracted) beforehand.

 Search request/ Interim display request: enabled
 Text viewing / Downloading: enabled

 Text viewing / downloading: disabled
* becomes enabled by restoration (extraction).

Also, restoration (extraction) steps can be performed only by the user with system administrator privilege (access policy: Domain Admin).
