Question:
Should an image embedded in mail text be a ZIP encryption target?
Answer:
The image file embedded in mail text is not a ZIP encryption target in our filtering service.
*Considering about company logo and image picture embedded in the signature space, we have made our service specification so as NOT to ZIP-encrypt those image data.
Additionally, new Gmail interface enables the Google Workspace users to drag and drop the image picture onto mail text.
When trying to attach some image to mail in the new procedure, the image data will be forcibly processed as an image picture to be embedded in the mail text.
*Please note that this process applies ONLY to the image picture NOT to the [.txt] file or the like.
If you would like to have some image picture handled as the ZIP encryption target, please get the image file by clicking the [attachment] button on the menu bar.
