A password error occurs when entering an auto-generated password

for Google Workspace / for Microsoft 365

Question:

A password error occurs when entering an auto-generated password on the File Transfer Service.

Answer:

Your password may have one of the errors listed in the following:

(1) A single-width space is automatically included before or after a symbol

We have confirmed that this issue may occur when the browser being used is not the latest version.
Please update your browser to the latest version if this is the case.

(2) A double-byte character is included in your password

A space or double-byte character may be included in your password due to improper translation by the Google Chrome automatic-translation feature.
Please turn off the Google Chrome automatic-translation feature.

(3) A trailing space is included

An invisible character, such as a line feed character, may be automatically included when copying
on some mailers.
In this case, the invisible character will be pasted as a space.

Since this behavior depends on your applications or OS, there is no way to avoid it.
Please manually enter your password instead of copying and pasting from an email.
