What is HDE One?

HDE One is a cloud-based security suite that consists of multiple services that provides supplementary functions for users to effectively eliminate potential security threats and risks while using cloud-based productivity suite and more cloud apps (i.e : Office 365, Google Suite, and Salesforce).

HDE One consists of five services:

1) HDE Access Control

2) HDE Secure Browser

3) HDE Email DLP

4) HDE Email Archive

5) HDE Secure Transfer

1) Access Security - HDE Access Control

HDE Access Control enables organisations to:

  • allow employees to perform Single Sign-on with a single account to all our services as well as the cloud productivity suite (i.e : Office 365, Google Suite, Salesforce or any other service that uses SAML for authentication and authorisation). Its purpose is to ease the login process by eliminating the trouble to perform login individually for each service.
  • allow system administrator to perform user management such as setting password policy.
  • allow or restrict employees within specific networks (i.e corporate network) to log in to the services to ensure that only authorised users are able to access to the cloud services by setting access policy groups
  • allow system admin to monitor and trace the details of the access activities of every user in the system (i.e : Access date, time, IP address, device used, etc.)

2) BYOD Security - HDE Secure Browser

HDE Secure Browser enables organisations to:

  • ensures all the information and data is securely accessed via the browser and never be downloaded and stored in local device to prevent any potential information leakage.
  • remove access permission for accounts logged in on lost devices or devices belonged to former employees to ensure that unauthorised accesses are prohibited.
  • prohibit copying any text displayed in the browser to eliminate any possibility of leakage of confidential data.

3) Communication Security - HDE Email DLP

HDE Email DLP enables organisations to:

  • suspend the sent emails within a customisable period of time to allow the sender to review and correct any mistake when necessary and reaffirm that the content of the email is properly written before finalising the sending process.
  • define filters to enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP) to prevent the emails that are potentially containing confidential data to be sent to the recipients. Such confidential data are credit card no., phone no., specific keyword, and email address.
  • define rules to ensure emails sent by certain senders or containing specific information require the approval of an authorised approver to complete the sending process.

4) Email Archiving - HDE Email Archive

HDE Email Archive enables organisations to:

  • archive all of the emails that are sent and received by the employees.
  • allow system administrator to search for emails that contain specific keyword in the message body, subject title or attachment, and emails that are sent or received by a specific email address.
  • allow system administrator to download and locally backup all the archived emails when desired.

5) File Transfer Security - HDE Secure Transfer

HDE Secure Transfer enables organisations to:

  • allow employees to securely send files within the organisation or towards an external individual by generating and assigning a unique password to each file transfer and requiring the receiver to input the password to unlock and gain access to the file. The user could decide the preferred way to communicate the password to maximise security.
  • allow employees to securely receive files from a source within the organisation or outside of the organisation by generating a link that allows the sender to upload the requested file via the HDE Secure Transfer.
  • allow employees to fix the duration for the files to exist in the Secure Transfer for each file transfer or instantly remove an upload when desired to prevent anyone from downloading the particular file.
  • enable employees to be notified every time when an uploaded file is being accessed as well as to search the log for the details of all the previous file transfer
