Setting Up HENNGE Access Control (Office 365)

This article consists of the instructions on how to correctly setup Access Control so that it is fully functional within your Office 365 domain environment. There are two procedures involved in the complete setup : Installing HENNGE One Directory Sync to synchronise the accounts from your cloud environment to Access Control and Setting up Single Sign-on by ensuring the account details provided by our Access Control are entirely federated.

1) Setting up HENNGE One Directory Sync

Purpose : To set up the synchronisation connection between Office 365 and HENNGE Access Control.

The setup of HENNGE One Directory Sync slightly varies for different cloud environment:

(i) HENNGE One Directory Sync (Office 365 with Azure Active Directory)

a. Prepare a Windows PC with the necessary tools.
b. Connect HENNGE Access Control with Office 365 using an administrator.
c. Run commands on PowerShell to assign Role to our Sync server.
d. We will execute the synchronisation.

(ii) HENNGE One Directory Sync (Office 365 with Windows Active Directory)

2) Setting up Single Sign-on 

After installing HENNGE One Directory Sync onto your Microsoft Windows machine, you shall proceed to setting up Single Sign-on. Please note that this Access Control Single Sign-on setup is applicable for both Azure Active Directory and Windows Active Directory environments. 

Single Sign-on Setup

a. Prepare a Windows PC with the necessary tools.
b. Log in to Office 365 via Microsoft Online Services using PowerShell.
c. To set "onmicrosoft.com" to become the default domain.
d. Download "Server Certification" from HENNGE Access Control Admin Console.
e. Federate HENNGE One domain with Office 365 Domain.
