[Device Certificate] Device Certificate Installation (Windows)

Overview

This article explains the procedure for customers using Access Control and Device Certificate to install a device certificate on a Windows OS device.

Notes

1. Depending on the device and OS version you are using, the screens displayed may differ.
2. The content of this article is based on the product specifications as of March 2026 and may be changed without notice.
3. If an error occurs during the certificate installation, please refer to the following article for troubleshooting steps.

Procedure

1. Open the notification email for certificate installation.
   * The certificate installation email will be sent from the address noreply@ssso.hdems.com.

2. Click the URL listed in [Step 1] in the email body.

   

3. Confirm that the download of Cybertrust DeviceiD Importer is complete.
4. Click the downloaded Cybertrust DeviceiD Importer.

5. The installation screen will appear. Click [Next].

   

6. Check the installation location, and if there are no issues, click [Next].

   

7. When the installation ready screen appears, click [Install].

   

8. When the [Cybertrust DeviceiD Importer Setup Wizard is complete] screen appears, click [Finish].

   

9. Launch the Cybertrust DeviceiD Importer you just installed.

10. When the certificate identifier input screen appears, enter the certificate identifier listed in the certificate installation email you checked in Step 1, then click [Register Certificate].

    * If a security warning screen appears, click [Yes].

11. When the certificate installation complete screen appears, click [OK].
