How to configure to the encryption rules on Email Security to have specific rules depending on the recipient?
It is possible for you to configure different details including encryption password format, creating Zip file extension, and notification message respectively for each recipient.
For the e-mail which the filtering definition feature judges as the encryption target, the below [encryption] details should be set up depending on a combination of which sender to which recipient;
- Password type
- Notification message selection
- Encryption file extension
- Exclusion from encryption
By the above categorizing way of settings, “filtering definition” and “definition of password” can be managed separately. This enables the flexible security policy administration.
■ How to Set
(1) Click on [encryption] – and then [encryption policy definition] By this way, create new encryption policy.
The already registered encryption policy (=default encryption policy), priority: 100000, sender: all, recipient: all, and the encryption type: random password cannot be changed/ deleted.
*Note) after update, all the past encryption filter should be moved to [default encryption policy].
(2) Specify the each detail on the [Encryption Policy] setting page
Designate as below in the same way as the [filtering definition].
Start applying with the lower priority.
Specify the combination of Sender/ recipient
* Create “sender” and “recipient” in [filtering] and [mail group definition] beforehand.
This definition can be made respectively by each, or can be made together with the [filtering definition].
Encryption type: specify [each created encryption policy], or [no encryption needed]
