Are the mails sent from G Suite configured filters able to be filtered by Email Security?

Answer:

As long as the mail is not delivered from G Suite directly to the Internet, the mail is to be the filtering target.

There are 3 ways of settings for the G Suite automatic mail transfer. It works differently depending on the way of setting. Please check and confirm each setting and each filtering work.

1. Gmail individual setting [Mail transfer and POP/IMAP]

This is a way as in the following step;
[Geer icon > Settings] on the right top of Gmail page >>Register the transfer destination address in the [Transfer] item of the [Mail transfer and POP/IMAP].

Since the mail is delivered following the outbound gateway settings, it goes through our service. Thus, it should be the filtering target.

2. Gmail individual Settings [Filter]

This is a way as in the following step;
[Geer icon > Settings] on the right top of Gmail page >>Select the relevant filter in [Filter] > Register the transfer destination address in the [Transfer to the following address] item on the second page of the advanced menu.

Since the mail is delivered following the outbound gateway settings, it goes through our service. Thus, it should be the filtering target.

3. Admin page (Using G Suite administrator privilegea) mail transfer settings

This is a way as in the following step;
Geer icon >> [Settings] in the [Domain management] menu >>Mail >>Mail transfer>>Register mail transfer destination address.

Regardless of the outbound gateway settings, the mail is delivered directly to the Internet (G Suite specification) without going through our service. Thus, it is NOT to be the filtering target.
