How can I execute Assign-HDEOnePasswordSyncGroup.bat on a regular basis?

Q.

I use a HDE One Direct Sync tool to integrate user information from AD to HDE One Access Control. I need to execute the security group assignation batch each time after one or more user is added to the AD. How can I execute the batch automatically to prevent the batch from un-executed situation?

A.

The Windows Task Scheduler enables you to automatically perform the security group assignation batch. There are no problems if the security group assignation batch is executed more than once. The following is one example about how to set a task in the Windows Task Scheduler.

1)Start "Task Scheduler" in Computer Management or Server Manager in Windows

2)Click [Create Task]

3)Configure the following items

 [General] tab

 3-1-1)

[When running the task, use the following account]

The account should be [Domain Admins] or [Enterprise Admins] account

  3-1-3)

Check [Run whether user is logged on or not]

  3-1-4)
