We are pleased to announce that HENNGE Email DLP now supports Authenticated Received Chain (ARC).
With this update, the results of SPF/DKIM/DMARC authentication performed during e-mail relay (receiving) and the digital signature of HENNGE Email DLP can be forwarded to the destination mail server as ARC-* header information.
Previously, HENNGE Email DLP did not support ARC. As a result, when using HENNGE Email DLP to encrypt attachments with ZIP or upload attachments via Secure Download in environments where Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace digitally sign emails with DKIM, ARC-* header information could not be passed on. This could cause the final receiving mail server to fail ARC verification in "Authentication-Results", potentially leading to misidentification as spam.
With this update, ARC-* header information can be passed on even in such cases, and HENNGE Email DLP can also add ARC headers. This allows the receiving server to verify the legitimacy of emails more accurately(※).
This feature is enabled for all tenants and requires no additional configuration on your end.
※The receiving mail server needs to perform ARC-* verification. Also, how the receiving mail server ultimately handles the verified email is up to the server's configuration.
