[Secure Transfer] Instructions for downloading files received through HENNGE Secure Transfer

Description

This article explains how to download files for users who receive files sent via Secure Transfer.

2. If you are unable to access the download URL due to a web proxy or web filtering on the recipient's environment, please contact your IT administrator and allow access to the following FQDNs:
   *.transfer.hennge.com
   *.hennge-one.smtps.jp
3. Depending on the Secure Transfer settings, the required download procedure for recipients may differ.
4. If you have any questions about how to download files received via Secure Transfer, please contact the sender.

Procedure

Check Cookies

1. Open the received URL.

2. If a dialog appears to allow cookies, click [Accept All] to allow all cookies. Otherwise, click [Manage Cookies], review the settings, and then click [Save].

   

   

The file download procedure after "Check Cookies" depends on the sender's settings.
After opening the received URL, please refer to the procedure from the link at the top of the screen that matches the screen you see.

1. If the file download screen is displayed

   Download files by clicking [Download All Files] or [Download].
   [Download All Files] will compress all files into a ZIP file and download them at once.
   * This is available only if the total size of the transferred files is less than 2 GB.
   * [Download All Files] is displayed only when multiple files have been uploaded.

   

2. Procedure when a download password is required
   Refer to this if a [You've received files.] message and password entry screen are displayed at the top of the screen.

   

3. Procedure when email address verification is required
   Refer to this if a two-step process starting with [Enter Email Address] is displayed at the top of the screen and the [Enter Email Address] field is shown.

   

4. Procedure when verification of a specified email address is required
   Refer to this if a two-step process starting with [Enter Email Address] is displayed at the top of the screen and a masked email address is shown.

   

5. Procedure when both a download password and email address verification are required
   Refer to this if a three-step process starting with [Enter password] is displayed at the top of the screen.

   

Procedure when a download password is required

1. Enter the download password provided in the email and click [Next].
   * If you check [Remember this approval], the authentication information will be saved in your browser's cookies. When accessing a URL that requires email address verification from the same browser, email address verification will be skipped.

   

2. Download the files.

   [Download All Files] will compress all files into a ZIP file and download them at once.
   * This is available only if the total size of the transferred files is less than 2 GB.
   * [Download All Files] is displayed only when multiple files have been uploaded.

   

Procedure when email address verification is required

1. Enter the email address to receive the security code and click [Send Verification Code].

   

2. The screen will change to the security code entry screen. Enter the security code sent to the email address entered in Step 1 and click [Verify].
   * You can also copy and paste.
   * If you check [Remember this approval], the authentication information will be saved in your browser's cookies. When accessing a URL that requires email address verification from the same browser, email address verification will be skipped.

   

3. Download the files.

   [Download All Files] will compress all files into a ZIP file and download them at once.
   * This is available only if the total size of the transferred files is less than 2 GB.
   * [Download All Files] is displayed only when multiple files have been uploaded.

   

Procedure when verification of a specified email address is required

1. Check the displayed email address and click [Send Verification Code].
   * Email address verification is only possible with the email address specified by the sender.

   

2. The screen will change to the security code entry screen. Enter the security code sent to the email address displayed in Step 1 and click [Verify].
   * You can also copy and paste.
   * If you check [Remember this approval], the authentication information will be saved in your browser's cookies. When accessing a URL that requires email address verification from the same browser, email address verification will be skipped.

   

3. Download the files.

   [Download All Files] will compress all files into a ZIP file and download them at once.
   * This is available only if the total size of the transferred files is less than 2 GB.
   * [Download All Files] is displayed only when multiple files have been uploaded.
   * If the downloaded ZIP file is garbled, it may be due to the extraction system.

Procedure when both a download password and email address verification are required

1. Enter the download password provided in the email and click [Next].
   * If you check [Remember this approval], the authentication information will be saved in your browser's cookies. When accessing a URL that requires email address verification from the same browser, email address verification will be skipped.

   

2. Follow the subsequent steps according to the displayed screen.
   • If the [Enter Email Address] field is displayed: Procedure when email address verification is required
   • If a masked email address is displayed: Procedure when verification of a specified email address is required
