Target
This is for administrators who approve authentication requests for HENNGE Secure Browser from users.
Purpose
In order for users to start using HENNGE Secure Browser, administrators need to perform device authentication.
There are two types of device authentication: manual device authentication and automatic device authentication.

2. HENNGE Access Control administrator privileges are required for actual screen verification and settings changes.

Accessing the HENNGE Access Control Administration Screen
Settings for Manual Device Authentication
1. Open the HENNGE Access Control administration screen and select [Domain Settings] → [Secure Browser Settings].
2. Disable [Automatically accept device authentication requests], enter any email address for [Device authentication notification email], and select [Save Changes].
3. Select [Pending Requests] from the [Secure Browser] menu.
4. If there are requests from users, they will be listed.
5. Perform device authentication.
5.1. If you are performing device authentication for each device, select the displayed user, confirm the request details, and then select [Deny] / [Accept].
Items that can be confirmed in the request details are as follows.
・Date and Time: Displays the date and time the device authentication request was received.
・Status: Displays the device authentication status.
・ID: Displays the HENNGE Secure Browser ID.
・Validity Period: Allows setting the validity period of the device. Selecting [Yes] allows you to set a specific validity period. If the validity period expires, device authentication will no longer be possible.
・Send Unread Notification: Sets whether unread notifications are enabled or disabled.
・Browser Policy Group: Sets the browser policy group to which the corresponding device belongs.
・User: Displays the username of the user using the corresponding device.
・Display Name: Sets the display name of the device displayed in the device list.
・Device Type: Displays information about the device on which HENNGE Secure Browser is installed.
・Email Address: Displays the email address of the user using the corresponding device.
・Access Policy Group: Displays the access policy group assigned to the user using the corresponding device.
Only when [Accept] is selected, you can confirm the permitted devices from [Devices].
5.2. If you want to perform device authentication for multiple devices at once, check all the devices you want to authenticate and select [Accept] / [Deny].
When [Accept] is selected: Select [Accept].
You can confirm the permitted devices from in [Devices] menu.
When [Deny] is selected: Select [Deny].
Settings for Automatic Device Authentication
1. Open the HENNGE Access Control administration screen and select [Domain Settings] → [Secure Browser Settings].
2. Enable [Automatically accept device authentication requests], enter any email address for [Device authentication notification email], and select [Save Changes].
