- Administrators who approve HENNGE Secure Browser authentication requests from users
Purpose
- This explains how administrators can perform device authentication so that users can start using HENNGE Secure Browser.
- There are two types of device authentication methods: Manual Device Authentication and Automatic Device Authentication.

- To confirm the actual screen or change settings, you need global administrator privileges for HENNGE Access Control or Secure Browser administrator privileges.
※ The setting to enable/disable automatic device authentication is only possible with global administrator privileges. - Please refer to the following article for how to access the administration screen.
How to access the HENNGE Access Control administration screen
Settings for Manual Device Authentication
1. Open the HENNGE Access Control administration screen and select [ Domain Settings ] → [ Secure Browser Settings ].

2. Set [ Automatically accept device authentication requests ] to [ Disabled ], enter an optional email address in [ Device authentication notification email ], and select [ Save Changes ].
3. From the [ Secure Browser ] menu, select [ Pending Requests ].
4. If there is a request from a user, it will be displayed in the list.
5. Perform device authentication.
5.1. To authenticate each device individually, select the displayed user, check the request details, and select [ Accept ] / [ Deny ].
The items that can be confirmed in the request details are as follows:
・Date: Displays the date when the device authentication request was received.
・Status: Displays the device authentication status.
・Identifier: Displays the HENNGE Secure Browser ID.
・Expires: You can set the expiration date for the device. Selecting [ Yes ] allows you to set a specific expiration date. If the expiration date passes, authentication on the device will not be possible.
・Send unread notifications: Set the enable/disable status for unread notifications.
・Browser Policy Group: Set the browser policy group to which the relevant device belongs.
・User: Displays the username of the user using the relevant device.
・Display Name: Set the display name of the device as shown in the device list.
・Device Type: Displays the device information on which HENNGE Secure Browser is installed.
・Email Address: Displays the email address of the user using the relevant device.
・Access Policy Group: Displays the access policy group assigned to the user using the relevant device.
Only if [Accepted], you can check the accepted devices from [Devices].
5.2. To authenticate multiple devices at once, check all the devices you want to authenticate and select [Accepted] / [Denied].
If [Accepted]: Select [Accepted].
You can check the accepted devices from [Devices].
If [Denied]: Select [Denied].
Settings for Automatically Accepting Device Authentication Requests
1. Open the HENNGE Access Control management screen and select [Domain Settings] → [Secure Browser Settings].
2. Set [Automatically accept device authentication requests ] to [Enabled], enter an email address of your choice in [Device authentication notification email], and select [Save Changes].
