Email DLP Attachment Settings - Create/Edit Secure Download Types

• Email DLP Administrators
• Administrators using Secure Download to convert attachments into URLs

Purpose

• This explains how to create/edit Secure Download Types for Email DLP.

Notes

1. This article is based on the product specifications as of March 2025 and may change without notice.
2. Administrator privileges for Email DLP are required to verify the actual screen and change settings.

Procedure

Individual Creation/Edit of Secure Download Types

1. Access [Attachment Settings] - [Secure Download Types] from the left menu of the Email DLP administration screen.

2. Select either [+ Create] at the top right of the screen or the [gear icon] of the Secure Download Type you want to edit.
※ The System Default created by default is a Secure Download Type automatically used when there is no matching policy.
※ You cannot edit or delete the System Default.

3. Enter each item and click [Create] or [Apply] at the bottom right.
For details on each setting value, please check Items (Secure Download Types).

Settings are required for both when the display destination of the download link created by Secure Download is a PDF file and when it is within the email body.

Batch Creation/Edit of Secure Download Types

Create import data (settings data) for Secure Download Types and perform the import.
