Creating Browser Policy Groups (Modern View)

Target

This is intended for administrators of HENNGE Secure Browser.

Purpose

Administrators create a new browser policy group.

2. HENNGE Access Control administrator privileges are required for actual screen verification and configuration changes.

Detailed Description / Procedure

To create a new browser policy group in HENNGE Access Control, go to the left menu of the HENNGE Access Control admin page: [Secure Browser] - [Browser Policy Group].

How to Create a New Browser Policy Group

1. Access the left menu of the HENNGE Access Control admin page: [Secure Browser] - [Browser Policy Group].

2. Click on [Add New Browser Policy Group] in the top left corner.

3. Configure each item and click [Submit].

1. Policy Group Details

1.1. ID (Can only be confirmed after creating a new browser policy group)

This is the value assigned to each browser policy group. The first group is automatically numbered, starting from 0.

1.2. Display Name

This is the configuration value that becomes the name of the browser policy group.
※ The display name must be less than 256 characters in length.

1.3. Number of Devices (Can only be confirmed after creating a new browser policy group)

This indicates the total number of devices associated with the respective browser policy group.

 

2. Policy Settings

2.1. Save Usernames

Set whether to save the username on the login screen and allow automatic input in the future.

2.2. Save Passwords

Set whether to save the password on the login screen and allow automatic input in the future.

2.3. Save Cookies

Set whether to allow the saving of cookies. If not allowed, certain settings in HENNGE Secure Browser's settings screen will be hidden.

2.4. Save Form Data

Set whether to allow the saving of form data. If not allowed, certain settings in HENNGE Secure Browser's settings screen will be hidden.

2.5. Show Long-Press Menu

Set whether to allow the display of a popup menu when long-pressing on a web page.

2.6. Use the Camera

If "Allow" is selected, users can use the camera and microphone when requested by websites. If "Disallow" is selected, the camera and microphone will not be available.

2.7. Use GPS

If "Allow" is selected, users can use the GPS feature on websites such as maps that request GPS access. If "Disallow" is selected, the GPS feature will not be available.

2.8. Automatically Clear the Clipboard

Set whether to automatically clear the clipboard content when switching apps.

2.9. Skip Login Authentication

The "Skip Login Authentication" setting in HENNGE Secure Browser's access policy is to be enabled when using authentication sources other than HENNGE Access Control. Therefore, it is disabled by default in environments where HENNGE Access Control is present.

2.10. Force App Lock

Set whether to automatically lock the app and require passcode input when starting. If this setting is enabled, you can set the minimum number of characters for the passcode.

2.11. Force HTTPS

Set whether to use HTTPS exclusively for all websites accessed with HENNGE Secure Browser.

2.12. Initial Page URL

Set the URL of the web page that HENNGE Secure Browser will open after a successful login. If left blank, it will open the bookmark screen.

 

3. Bookmarks

3.1. Add Allowed Services

When this feature is enabled, bookmarks will be created based on HENNGE Access Control's service provider settings.

3.2. Bookmarks

Configure what to display on the bookmark screen. You can register up to 10 bookmarks.
