1. Preparation

1.1. Confirm the authentication method of HENNGE Secure Transfer (Modern)

Open the login screen of HENNGE Secure Transfer from the following URL, enter your email address, press [Next], and check the displayed screen.

* For customers who have not yet used the service with HENNGE Access Control as the authentication method, settings need to be changed by HENNGE. Please contact HENNGE Secure Transfer (Modern) inquiry: hst-modern-inquiry@hennge.com

2. Connection Procedure

Check the procedure that corresponds to the authentication method confirmed in the above step 1.1.

2.1. When the authentication method is HENNGE Access Control

2.1.1 Confirm the Name ID of HENNGE Secure Transfer (Classic)

1) Access the HENNGE Access Control management screen as an administrator user and open the editing screen of the settings for HENNGE Secure Transfer (Classic) from [Service Provider Settings].
* If the name is "HENNGE Secure Transfer (Modern)," it is the setting for Modern. Check other settings for HENNGE Secure Transfer.

2) Confirm the content set in the "Name ID" item in the settings.

 

2.1.2 Confirm and Change the Name ID of HENNGE Secure Transfer (Modern)

1) Open the editing screen of "HENNGE Secure Transfer (Modern)" from [Service Provider Settings] on the HENNGE Access Control management screen.

2) Confirm the content set in the "Name ID" item in the settings. If it is different from the content confirmed in 2.1.1, correct it to the content confirmed in 2.1.1 and save it.

 

2.1.3 HENNGE Secure Transfer Connection Procedure (HENNGE Access Control)
* Since "HENNGE Secure Transfer (Modern)" is already registered in the "Service Provider Settings" on the HENNGE Access Control management screen, perform it from step 2, "Service permission for the target user."

2.2. When the authentication method is Microsoft 365

Grant access permissions to HENNGE Secure Transfer using Microsoft 365 administrator privileges.

* When logging in to HENNGE Secure Transfer (Modern), the login ID is the "primary email address."

2.3. When the authentication method is Google Workspace

Perform the following steps when restricting users in Google Workspace groups.

3. Operation Verification Test by Administrator User

3.1. Operation test of HENNGE Secure Transfer by administrator user

Confirm that the administrator user can log in to HENNGE Secure Transfer.

4. Operation Policy Settings

4.1. HENNGE Secure Transfer Operation Policy Settings

Please make the necessary setting changes referring to the following.

4.2. Setting of Google Group Login Restrictions (Google Workspace Authentication Only)

Perform the following steps when restricting users in Google Workspace groups.

5. Start of Operation

Change the HENNGE Secure Transfer settings to allow general users to log in.

5.1. When the authentication method is HENNGE Access Control

If the user permission setting made in step 2.1.3, "Service permission for the target user," is not set for general users, change the setting.

5.2. When the authentication method is Microsoft 365

If the login restriction of HENNGE Secure Transfer is enabled, change the setting to allow general users to log in.
If it is disabled, no setting change is required.

5.3. If the authentication method is Google Workspace

If the user login restriction of HENNGE Secure Transfer is enabled, change the settings to allow general users to log in.
If it's disabled, no settings change is necessary.
