Overview
We are pleased to announce this update to the HENNGE Email Archive coming June 2024.
HENNGE Email Archive provides two types of archive periods, "Real-time" and "Backup" based on your contract.
(For more information of the archiving email period, please refer to How to Use the Backup Function.)
Administrator now can change the backup period to follow your company's policy.
Please note that archived emails that have surpassed the backup period will be physically deleted. Once archived emails have been physically deleted, they cannot be restored, so please take care when changing your backup period.
Detailed Features
・The backup period can be changed within the ranges of '0-9 years' or '0-10 years or more', depending on your contract.
・The default backup period is the maximum ("9" or "10 years or more").
・The archived email period is the total of the real-time period and the backup period.
E.g. Real-time 1 year + Backup 9 years = 10 years of archived emails
・Requests to change the backup period and its cancellation are recorded in the access log.
・If you change the backup period, the change will be reflected on the 1st of the following month. (Any changes can be canceled during the current month.)
・Once a backup period has been changed, physically deleted emails cannot be restored.
Important Notes
・This feature is only available to initial administrators.
・The standard real-time period is one year, but can be extended with an optional contract.
