This guide is intended for administrators using Google Workspace to perform initial setup of Tadrill.
Purpose
This document explains the necessary settings in Google Workspace to ensure that emails sent from Tadrill are not flagged as spam.
Precautions
1. The content of this article is based on the product as of June 2024 and may change without notice due to updates or specification changes.
2. To perform the steps in this guide, you need the administrator account information (username and password) for your Google Workspace tenant.
3. The settings are displayed in the Tadrill management interface. Ensure you have an account that can log in to the Tadrill management interface. Initial login to Tadrill is only possible with the initial administrator who applied at the time of application.
Detailed Procedure Explanation
1. Access the following page with your Google Workspace administrator account:
https://admin.google.com/ac/apps/gmail/spam
Ensure that "Spam, Phishing, Malware" section is open.
2. In the "Allow List" section, add the IP addresses displayed by following these steps and click "Save".
2.1. Log in to the Tadrill management interface.
2.2. Click on the left menu "Emails".
2.3. Click "Create" in the upper right corner of the screen.
2.4. Select "Insert phishing link" and click "Next".
2.5. Select "[Connection settings: Tadrill domain / IP address]" from the templates displayed on the left side of the screen.
2.6. Refer to the IP addresses (2 items) displayed in the email creation screen.
※ Please proceed with the tabs as they are used in steps 3 and 8.
3. If the IP addresses from step 2 are listed in "Inbound Gateway", delete them and click "Save".
4. Click "Settings" in "Spam" section.
If there are existing rules, click "Add another rule".
5. Enter any description. (Example: White list for Tadrill)
6. Confirm that the option "Do not apply spam filter or show warnings for emails received from senders or domains selected in the list." under "Options to ignore filters and warning banners" in the settings screen is checked, and click "Create or edit list".
7. Click "Add address list" in the management page of the opened tab "Address List".
8. Enter any name, add the training domain confirmed in step 2 as an address, and turn on "Authentication required".
You can also register domains in bulk.
After clicking "Add address list" in step 7, click "Add addresses in bulk" on the screen that opens, and copy & paste the above domain into the input field.
9. Click "Save".
10. Return to the "Spam" settings tab, click "Use existing list", and specify the address list created in step 8.
11. Click "Save".
※ It may take up to 24 hours for each setting to take effect.
