New Release: [HENNGE Access Control] August 2024 (new Description field added to HENNGE Device Certificate in admin console)

This information is intended for administrators using HENNGE Access Control device certificates.

Details

We are pleased to announce that the HENNGE Access Control service update scheduled for August 2024.

A new "Description" field has been added to the HENNGE Device Certificate.

This update will occur in two phases: early August and late August.
Please check the details of the timing and the update contents below.

Early August

    1. "Description" field added to the edit screen of issued device certificates
    2. Item names on the screen will be made clearer

Late August

    1. "Description" field added to the certificate registration screen and registration files
    2. "Description" field added to the downloaded certificate list file (TSV)
    3. In [Device Certificates] - [Certificates] list item table, "MEMO (Email Subject Memo)" changed to "Description"

Update Details

Early August

  1. An editable "Description" field will be added to the device certificate edit page in the Admin Console


  2. Item names will be made clearer.
    The name of the existing "Description" field will be changed to "Email Subject Memo".
    To avoid confusion between the uses of "Description", the current feature name of "Description" will be changed to "Email Subject Note".
    * There will be no change to the functionality itself.

Certificate Registration List Template (CSV file)

Late August

  1. A new editable "Description" column will be added to the Register Certificate screen and the issuance CSV files.
    The screens and files where the "Notes" item will be added are as follows:
    ・Certificate Registration
    ・CSV file for certificate issuance
    ・Downloaded device certificate list file (TSV file)
  2. Some items displayed on the [Device Certificates] - [Certificate List] page will be changed.
    The "Notes" field will appear in place of the current "Description".
    * The content of the existing "Description (Email Subject Note)" can be checked from the edit screen of each device certificate or the device certificate list file (TSV file).
    It is also possible to search for strings from the search form.
