This is for customers who have completed the connection between HENNGE Email DLP and Google Workspace.
Purpose
We will confirm whether the connection between HENNGE Email DLP and Google Workspace has been completed correctly and whether the filters are working as per your requirements.

Detailed Steps and Explanation
1. Preparations
1.1. Send a test email from Google Workspace to internal and external recipients.
2. Google Workspace Verification Steps
2.1. Select the app launcher icon at the top right of Google Workspace and choose the admin icon in [Google Admin Console].
2.2. Select Reports from the left menu .
2.3. Select "Mail Log Search".
2.4. Enter the date on which you sent the test email in [Date] and select [Search].
If necessary, enter other conditions.
2.5. Select the test email sent to internal recipients from the search results.
2.6. Open [Recipient Details] and confirm that it has not been forwarded to HENNGE Email DLP.
Confirm that HENNGE Email DLP is not applied within [Matching Rules].
If it has been forwarded to HENNGE Email DLP, uncheck [Internal - Send] in the forwarding settings.

2.7. Return to the search screen and select the test email sent to external recipients from the search results.
2.8. Open [Recipient Details] and confirm that it has been forwarded to HENNGE Email DLP.
Confirm that HENNGE Email DLP is applied within [Matching Rules].
If it has not been forwarded to HENNGE Email DLP, please check for any errors in the connection procedure.

3. HENNGE Email DLP Verification Steps
3.1. Access the management screen of HENNGE Email DLP.
The URL of the management screen of HENNGE Email DLP includes your environment's main domain.
Replace the [Main Domain] part in the following URL with your main domain.
https://console.mo.hdems.com/admin/#/[Main Domain]
If the main domain is "example.com", the URL would look like this:
https://console.mo.hdems.com/admin/#/example.com
3.2. Select [Filters] → [History].
3.3. Search with any date from the search box at the top right, and confirm that only test emails sent to external recipients are displayed, and emails sent to internal recipients are not displayed.
3.4. Open the details of the test email sent to external recipients and confirm that the intended filter, action, and rule are applied.
Depending on your requirements, modify the conditions, such as with or without attachments.
