Description
This article explains the procedure for admins who use Email DLP as a countermeasure against misdirected emails in Microsoft 365, describing how to allow the connection from Email DLP to Microsoft 365 when starting to use Email DLP.
Notes
- To perform this procedure, you need a Microsoft 365 global admin account with an Exchange Online license assigned.
- This operation only needs to be performed once per tenant when starting to use Email DLP.

Procedure
The Email DLP admin console URL contains your environment's main domain.
Replace the "main domain" part of the following URL with your own main domain.https://console.mo.hdems.com/#/「メインドメイン」Example: If your main domain is "example.com", the URL will be as follows.
https://console.mo.hdems.com/#/example.com- Open your browser and access the Email DLP URL.
The Microsoft 365 sign-in screen will appear. - Sign in with your Microsoft 365 global admin account.
Make sure the [Requested permissions] screen is displayed. - Check [Consent on behalf of your organization] and click [Accept].
If you did not check [Consent on behalf of your organization]
If you did not check [Consent on behalf of your organization], users will see the following message when accessing Email DLP.
Admin approval required
HENNGE Email DLP needs permission to access resources in your organization.
Only an admin can grant this permission.
To use the application, please ask your admin to grant access to this app first.If the above message appears, please follow the steps below to grant organization-wide consent.
- Sign in to the Microsoft Entra admin center with a global admin account and go to [Enterprise applications] from the left menu.
- On the Enterprise applications screen, select [All applications] and open [HENNGE Email DLP] from the list.
- The Email DLP app overview will be displayed. From the menu on the screen, open [Permissions].
- On the Permissions screen, click [Grant admin consent for "organization name"].
- The Microsoft 365 sign-in screen will appear. Sign in with your admin account.
- When [Requested permissions] is displayed, click [Accept].
