Purpose
- This article explains how to register the SPF Record used by Email DLP in DNS.
Notes
- This procedure must be completed before connecting Email DLP.
- This procedure is required for all custom domains you plan to use.
- HENNGE does not have access to your network's DNS settings.
To perform this procedure, your domain administrator or domain management service provider may need to take action.
Procedure
Adding an SPF Record
1. Add the SPF Record for Email DLP to the DNS of your domain.
include:spf.mta.hdems.com
Only one SPF Record can be set per domain.
Do not create multiple SPF Records for a domain; instead, add include:spf.mta.hdems.com to your existing SPF Record.
Configuration Example
・Microsoft 365
v=spf1 include:spf.protection.outlook.com include:spf.mta.hdems.com ~all
・Google Workspace
v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com include:spf.mta.hdems.com ~all
Checking SPF Record Settings
Verify that the SPF Record settings have been completed correctly.
