Supported OS/Browsers

Access Control / Email DLP / Email Archive / Secure Transfer / Tadrill / File DLP

• The browsers listed in the table support the latest versions.
• The HENNGE Secure Transfer user screen and the administration screens for the services listed above are available for PC versions only.
• IE mode in Edge is not supported.
• Customized Android OSs (custom ROMs), such as ColorOS, are not supported.
• Information regarding Microsoft Entra Join is provided based on verification conducted by HENNGE in January 2025, but does not guarantee reliable operation.

[Access Control] Secure Browser（Mobile/Desktop）

• Secure Browser primarily supports viewing "Mail," "Calendar," and "Contacts" in Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace.
  It may not work as expected due to factors such as those listed below.
  • Specifications or limitations of your environment (OS / device, etc.)
  • Specifications or limitations of the service you access (Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace)
• For services not provided through the Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace web interface for mobile devices, you will need to use the dedicated native app.

[Access Control] Device Certificate (including import tool)

• The latest browser versions are supported.

[Access Control] Tenant-wide Certificate

• When using a tenant-wide certificate on iOS / iPadOS, installation of the client certificate and intermediate certificate is required.
• Android / Chrome OS are not supported.
• Procedures and specifications for MDM and other operations related to distributing tenant-wide certificates are not supported.

Password Manager

• The latest versions of browsers are supported.

Handling of Support for Previous Versions

After new versions of browsers and operating systems are released, support for previous versions will be handled as follows.

• Browsers
  • When a new version is released, support for the latest version begins, and at the same time, the oldest version among the supported versions becomes unsupported.
• OS
  • Windows : Operating systems supported by Microsoft are supported.
  • ChromeOS : Complies with Google's Auto Update Expiration (AUE).
    For the auto-update policy, please refer to here (external link).
  • iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, macOS, Android : Three months after the release of a major version, the oldest version among the previously supported versions becomes unsupported.

Other Operational Requirements (Various Tools, Agents, and Server Environments)

[Access Control] HENNGE Directory Sync Tool

HENNGE Directory Sync Tool refers to the proxy settings in Internet Options.
Please log on to the server using the service startup account and configure the proxy settings.

Device Requirements

Must meet one of the following device requirements.

• A machine joined to a domain managed by Active Directory, running Windows / Windows Server supported by Microsoft
• An Active Directory domain controller running Windows / Windows Server supported by Microsoft

Software Requirements

1. .NET Framework 4.0 or later.
2. Windows PowerShell 3.0 or later.
3. The latest Active Directory module for Windows PowerShell.

Communication Requirements

1. HTTPS (443) port communication with external services is possible.
2. No automatic configuration scripts are used on the proxy server.
3. No user authentication is required when connecting.
4. If HENNGE Directory Sync Tool is installed on a server other than an Active Directory domain controller, ensure that the ports listed under [1. Ports used by domain members] in the Microsoft article below are open between the installation environment and the domain controller.

Active Directory Domain Controller Requirements

1. Must be a Windows Server supported by Microsoft.
2. The Active Directory user attributes must include the [unixUserPassword] attribute.
3. Active Directory Web Services must be running.

OS: Must be a Windows Server supported by Microsoft.

Mesh Network

Administrator privileges are required to install the agent on servers and clients.

The minimum system requirements are as follows.

• Linux: 2-core CPU / 8 GB
• Windows: 4-core CPU / 16 GB

The following operational requirements apply when using Subnet Linker. 

• Network Bandwidth: 100 Mbps

Tadrill

• If you use email security services such as spam filters or URL / attachment detection, configure settings such as whitelisting on the email security service side as needed when implementing the product.
• File-open detection for training emails sent through HENNGE Tadrill has been verified to work with the latest versions of Excel and Word in Microsoft 365 Apps.
  Other desktop applications (such as Excel 2021) are not supported and may not function properly.
• For the Outlook desktop application, we have verified that it works with the latest version of Outlook in Microsoft 365 Apps.
  Outlook desktop apps other than those mentioned above (such as the one-time purchase desktop apps like Outlook 2021) and the legacy version of Outlook are not supported and may not function properly.

[Tadrill] Tadrill Alert

• For the Outlook desktop application, we have verified that it works with the latest version of Outlook in Microsoft 365 Apps.
