- Customers using HENNGE Email Archive with Google Workspace
Purpose
- This explains how emails sent and received from Google Workspace (Gmail) are archived to HENNGE Email Archive.

- There are many similar items, so please be careful when configuring.
Procedure
Pre-Check Items
1. If there are existing settings related to [Routing], please send a screenshot showing the settings to us before this connection work.
2. Please prepare the document HENNGE One Connection Setting Sheet provided by us in advance.
Google Workspace Tasks
1. Access [Google Admin Console] - [Apps] - [Google Workspace] - [Gmail].
2. Under [Hosts] - [Add Route], enter the following values and click [Save] to create a total of 4 hosts.
Host 1
- Name: HENNGE Email Archive (rsmtpd_inbound)
- Host Name: in.r01.hdems.com
- Port Number: 25
- Options: Check [Perform MX lookup on host] and [Require mail to be transmitted via a secure (TLS) connection (Recommended)]
Host 2
- Name: HENNGE Email Archive (rsmtpd_outbound)
- Host Name: out.r01.hdems.com
- Port Number: 25
- Options: Check [Perform MX lookup on host] and [Require mail to be transmitted via a secure (TLS) connection (Recommended)]
Host 3
- Name: HENNGE Email Archive (bsmtpd_inbound)
- Host Name: in.r02.hdems.com
- Port Number: 25
- Options: Check [Perform MX lookup on host] and [Require mail to be transmitted via a secure (TLS) connection (Recommended)]
Host 4
- Name: HENNGE Email Archive (bsmtpd_outbound)
- Host Name: out.r02.hdems.com
- Port Number: 25
- Options: Check [Perform MX lookup on host] and [Require mail to be transmitted via a secure (TLS) connection (Recommended)]

3. Access [Google Admin Console] - [Apps] - [Google Workspace] - [Gmail].
4. Under [Routing] - [CONFIGURE], add a total of 4 routing settings with the following values.
* If there are already other routing settings, select [Add another rule].
* Use the hosts created in the [Host] settings.
Routing 1
- Routing: HENNGE Email Archive (rsmtpd_inbound)
- Email messages to affect: [Inbound]
- Also deliver to: Check [Add more recipients], then click [Add] - [Advanced]
- Route: Check [Change route] and select "HENNGE Email Archive (rsmtpd_inbound)" from the dropdown
- Spam and delivery options: Check [Do not send spam to this recipient] and [Do not send bounces from this recipient]
- Header: Check [Add custom headers], click [Add], enter "Hdems-Archive-Domain" in [Header Key] and "Customer Domain" in [Header Value], then click [Save] - [Save] - [Save]
※ The [Header Value] is stated in the [Forwarding Settings] of the document HENNGE One Connection Setting Sheet.
Routing 2
- Routing: HENNGE Email Archive (rsmtpd_outbound)
- Email messages to affect: [Outbound] and [Internal - sending]
- Also deliver to: Check [Add more recipients], then click [Add] - [Advanced]
- Route: Check [Change route] and select "HENNGE Email Archive (rsmtpd_outbound)" from the dropdown
- Spam and delivery options: Check [Do not send spam to this recipient] and [Do not send bounces from this recipient]
- Header: Check [Add custom headers], click [Add], enter "Hdems-Archive-Domain" in [Header Key] and "Customer Domain" in [Header Value], then click [Save] - [Save] - [Save]
Routing 3
- Routing: HENNGE Email Archive (bsmtpd_inbound)
- Email messages to affect: [Inbound]
- Also deliver to: Check [Add more recipients], then click [Add] - [Advanced]
- Route: Check [Change route] and select "HENNGE Email Archive (bsmtpd_inbound)" from the dropdown
- Spam and delivery options: Check [Do not send spam to this recipient] and [Do not send bounces from this recipient]

- Route: Check [Change route] and select "HENNGE Email Archive (bsmtpd_outbound)" from the dropdown

- Header: Check [Add custom headers], click [Add], enter "Hdems-Archive-Domain" in [Header Key] and "Customer Domain" in [Header Value], then click [Save] - [Save] - [Save]

Connection Confirmation
1. Check if the connection has been successfully completed.

2. Inform the HENNGE One implementation representative that the connection has been completed.
