How to delete installed Device Certificates (Windows 10)

for Google Workspace / for Microsoft 365


Q. 
How can I delete an installed Device Certificate?

A. 
Please refer to the following steps.

 

Step 1. Click on the "Start" menu and directly search for the tool "MMC.exe" to open it.

Step 2. Open the "Files" in the top menu and click on "Add/Remove Snap-in..." to continue.

Step 3. The small window will pop-up. Select "Certificates" from the left and click on "Add >" to add that to the list on the right.

Step 4. After the certificate has been selected to the right panel, click on "OK" to continue.

Step 5. Keep the default option "My user account" and click on "Finish".

Step 6. Click on "Personal" to open and view the personal certificates.

Step 7. Click on "Certificates" under "Personal" to view the certificates that belong to the local user.

Step 8. Right-click on the certificate "HENNGE-xxxxxxx" and click on "Delete" to remove the certificate from the Windows system.
