Authentication of HENNGE Secure Browser on Devices

Target

For Admins that need to approve requests of devices to use the HENNGE Secure Browser.

Purpose

In order for users to start using the HENNGE Secure Browser on their devices, Admin will need to authenticate the requests from each individual device.

Device Authentication/Approval has two types: Auto device authentication and Manual Device Authentication.

Cautions

1. The device client that is used may render the page differently according to various OS, Versions, or the type of devices.

2. This article is based on the product content of March 2019. May be revised without prior notice due to subsequent update or specification change.

Procedures

1. Manual Device Authentication

1.1. Open the HENNGE Access Control Admin Console, look for [ Secure Browser Settings ] on the main page, and click on [ Edit ].

1.2. Make sure that the [ Auto device authentication ] is set to [ Disable ], and enter an Admin Email Address in the [ Device authentication notification email ]. Lastly, click on [ Submit ].

1.3. Open the HENNGE Access Control Admin Console, look for [ Secure Browser ], and click on [ Pending Requests ].

1.4. Requests from the users can be found and confirmed on this page, please confirm each request and click on [ Accept ] or [ Reject ] under the [ Management ] column.

2. Auto Device Authentication

2-1. Open the HENNGE Access Control Admin Console, look for [ Secure Browser Settings ] on the main page, and click on [ Edit ].

2-2. Make sure that the [ Auto device authentication ] is set to [ Enable ], and enter an Admin Email Address in the [ Device authentication notification email ]. Lastly, click on [ Submit ].
