Target
Users who issue OTP (One-Time Passwords) in an application.
Purpose
Configure OTP (One-Time Passwords) used in HENNGE Access Control to be issued from Authenticator applications such as HENNGE Lock.
Notes
1. The screen display may vary depending on the OS, version, and model of your device.
2. The content of this article is based on the product as of September 2024 and is subject to change without notice.
3. A user cannot set up HENNGE Lock on multiple devices.
Procedure
1. Access the User Portal of HENNGE Access Control.
URL example: https://ap.ssso.hdems.com/portal/<yourdomain>/login/
※ The value of <yourdomain> will vary for each customer. Please change it to your main domain.
2. Select [OTP (One-Time Password) Settings].
3. Select [Configure OTP].
4. Select [Configure with Device] - [Configure with Device].
5. When using HENNGE Lock
5.1. Tap the HENNGE Lock link in step 1 to display, the [Install HENNGE Lock] screen, scan the QR code, and install HENNGE Lock.

You can also use other Authenticator applications besides HENNGE Lock.
If you are using another Authenticator application, please proceed to step 6.
5.2. Proceed with the setup from step 2.
5.3. When you scan the QR code, the OTP (One-Time Password) will be displayed on the application.
The screen will look like the one below when using HENNGE Lock.
5.4. Confirm that the completion screen is displayed in the HENNGE Access Control User Portal.
6. (If using an Authenticator application other than HENNGE Lock)
6.1. Confirm that OTP (One-Time Password) generation has started by reading the displayed QR code with the Authenticator application installed on your mobile device.
6.2. Enter the OTP (One-Time Password) token generated on the Authenticator application and select [Confirm].
* For the initial synchronization setup, you need to enter the confirmed OTP (One-Time Password).
6.3. Once successfully completed, the completion screen will be displayed.
* If there is an input error, even if you enter the correct OTP (One-Time Password) token, the process will not be completed. Please retry from step 3.
