Purpose
This procedure describes how to remove mailboxes from protection in Exchange for Microsoft 365 tenants added to Cloud Protection.
This step is not required for initial setup or starting use.

- Administrator privileges for Cloud Protection are required to view the actual screens or make configuration changes.
Procedure
- Open the Cloud Protection administration.
For instructions on how to access the administration, please refer to the following procedure.
How to Access the Cloud Protection Administration - From the menu on the left side of the screen, click [COLLABORATION PROTECTION] - [Cloud Services].

Click the numeric icon in the [Exchange] column for the target cloud service.

Click [Customize Security Protection].
If [Changes not saved] is displayed, click [Save]. -
From the mailboxes with [Status] set to [Protected], select the checkbox next to the mailbox you want to exclude from protection, and click [Turn off Security Protection].
Then, confirm that the [Status] column for the selected mailbox displays [Not Protected].
