Confirm Files Sent by HENNGE Secure Download

Target

This article applies to users who use the HENNGE Secure Download feature in HENNGE Email DLP.

Purpose

This article describes how to check the HENNGE Email DLP user page for files sent by HENNGE Secure Download.

Cautions

1. The content of this article is based on product specifications as of October 2022 and is revised accordingly without advanced notice.

2. The URL for the HENNGE Email DLP user page will vary depending on the HENNGE One customer`s tenant.

※ Mobile URL does not show the file history, so please operate from the PC screen.
Please change [ main domain ] to your contracted domain.

3. HENNGE One users can check up to 100 emails within the past three months.

Procedures

To review files sent by HENNGE Secure Download, go to the left menu of the HENNGE Email DLP user page [ Files ] - [ History ].

The sender can perform the procedure in this article by logging into HENNGE Email DLP.
For emails sent from a group, the group address cannot log in to HENNGE Email DLP, so it is impossible to check the History or disable the URL for downloading.
In addition, even when the team mail function is used, it is impossible to check the history sent by team members or stop the download URL.

1. Confirmation of Sent Files

Select the target email from [Files] - [History].

2. Description for Each Item

From : Displays the sender (Header From).

To : Displays the recipient set in "To".

Cc : Displays the recipient set in "Cc".

Bcc : Displays the recipient set in "Bcc".

Uploaded : Displays the date and time the file was uploaded.

Expiry: Displays the expiration date of the download URL.

Total downloads: Displays the total number of downloads for each file.

Files : Displays the file name, size, and number of downloads of the attached file.
Expand to see the downloaded email address and IP address.

3. Disabling URLs for Downloading

A download URL can be deactivated within 31 days after the download URL was created.
After 31 days, the download URL expires and becomes inaccessible.

3.1. Select the target email from [Files] - [History].

4. Check Download History

Total Downloads: Displays the total downloads for each file.

Number of Downloads: Displays the number of downloads for each file.
The maximum number of downloads for HENNGE Secure Download is 100 times for each file. If you reach the limit, you will not be able to download a file from the download URL.

Send the attachment again from Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace and create a new download URL If necessary.

4.2. Select the [↓] icon on the right to view detailed information for the target file.

When the icon expands, you'll see the email address of the person who downloaded each file, the time it was downloaded (n minutes ago, n days ago, 1 month ago), and the IP address.

5. Download Files

If you wish to review the files you have sent, you can download them by following the instructions below.

5.1. Select the target email from [Files] - [History].

5.2. Click the "Download" icon on the right of the target file.
