Policy Setting − Exchange Tab - Inbox rules scanning

This article describes the values that can be set in [Policies] - [Exchange] - [Inbox rules scanning] in the left menu of the HENNGE Cloud Protection administration page.

1. Inbox rules scanning on / off

Sets whether or not to use the suspicious inbox rule detection function.
It is enabled by default.

Enable / Disable detections based on the following options:

  • Suspicious rule name
  • Suspicious auto email moving
  • Suspicious email deletion
  • Suspicious auto auto-forwarding

2. Process

2.1 Notify the administrator

Sets whether or not to notify the administrator when suspicious inbox rules are detected.
It is enabled by default.
Please set the administrator Email Address in Policy [General] − [Notifications] − [Recipient email addresses].

2.2 Notify the user about detections with the following severities: Medium, High & Critical

Sets whether or not to notify the users when suspicious inbox rules are detected.
This notification will be sent depending on the configuration under [Notifications] - [User notifications based on severity].
The default value is on, and the default value for [User notifications based on severity] is [Medium, High & Critical].

It is enabled by default.
