Checking emails under approval

Users utilizing the approval function in HENNGE Email DLP are the target audience for the content of this article.

Purpose

This article explains how to view emails that have been submitted for approval in HENNGE Email DLP, specifically focusing on how senders can check them in the HENNGE Email DLP user interface.

Detailed Explanation / Procedure

In HENNGE Email DLP, approvers can approve or reject emails sent by predefined senders.
※ Approval function settings by an administrator are required.

To check emails under approval, navigate to [Approval Tray] - [Under Approval] in the left menu of the HENNGE Email DLP user interface.

If no action is taken (approval or rejection) on an email submitted for approval within 10 days of submission, it will be automatically deleted.

What happens to my pending emails/team emails/approval emails left untouched?

Select the target email.

2. Item Description

Rule Group Name : Displays the applied rule group name.

Rule Name : Displays the applied rule name.

Retention Date : Displays the date and time the email was retained.

From : Displays the sender (Header From).

To : Displays the recipients set in To.

Cc : Displays the recipients set in Cc.

Bcc : Displays the recipients set in Bcc.

Size : Displays the message size.

Attachment : Displays the attachment file name.

3. Operations

3.1. Deleting Emails Under Approval

To delete emails under approval, select [Delete].
Note that there is no confirmation screen displayed.
※ Deleted emails cannot be recovered. If you need to send the email, please resend it from Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.

3.2. Downloading Emails Under Approval

It is possible to download emails under approval in eml format.
Since images embedded in the body cannot be previewed on this screen, download the email to check.

To download emails under approval, select [Download].

To download attachments of emails under approval, select the file and choose [Download].
