Question
Can HENNGE Secure Download authentication be skipped when download files if authentication succeeded in the past?
Answer
Once authentication succeeds when a recipient download files with HENNGE Secure Download by a browser, it is possible to skip authentication for the next 14 days after that while authentication cache is kept in the browser.
This authentication skip behavior is valid per sender's domain.
Notes
・If that browser's cache is cleared, authentication will be required again when download files.
・Even if authentication has already succeeded once for a domain, recipients will need to authenticate separately for mail sent from different domains, including subdomains.
e.g.)
First sender's email address with HENNGE Secure Download: xxx@sample.com
→A recipient has to do authentication with a browser(Authentication cache for "sample.com" domain will be kept for the next 14 days in the browser)
Second sender's email address with HENNGE Secure Download: xxx@sub.sample.com
→A recipient also has to do authentication with a browser(Authentication cache for "sub.sample.com" domain will be kept for the next 14 days)
