Policy Setting (General)

This article is intended for administrators who perform initial setup and operational management of HENNGE Cloud Protection.

Purpose

This article explains the settings within the [General] tab that can be configured in HENNGE Cloud Protection policies.

Notes

1. The content of this article is based on the product specifications as of January 2024 and may be subject to change without notice.

2. HENNGE Cloud Protection administrator privileges are required for actual screen verification and configuration changes.

3. Policies can only be specified at the tenant level.

This section explains the values that can be configured in the [General] tab under [Collaboration Protection] - [Policy] in the HENNGE Cloud Protection management screen.

Policy Settings

Tab Item Name Description
General Policy Name

Set the name of the policy.

You can set tags for the policy.
Description You can include a description for the policy.
Privacy

Allow transmission of non-personalized metadata in file submission

To improve the efficiency and accuracy of threat analysis, allow the transmission of non-personalized metadata to WithSecure.

Allow WithSecure to store suspicious executable files for further analysis For continuous investigation within WithSecure, allow the storage of suspicious executable files.
Allow WithSecure to store suspicious non-executable files for further analysis For continuous investigation within WithSecure, allow the storage of suspicious non-executable files.
Allow data transmission to third-party services used by WithSecure for threat analysis

To improve protection quality and threat analysis, allow the transmission of file metadata and content to WithSecure Lab partners.
If allowing transmission, choose one of the following two:

・File content and metadata
・Metadata

Notification Recipient's Email Address If security alerts and administrator notifications are enabled, notifications will be sent to the email address set in this item.
Sender's Email Address Specify the email address to be the source of detection and other administrator notifications.
User Notification Based on Severity Set whether to notify the user based on the importance of the notification.
Can be set with the following values:
・All (Low, Medium, High, Critical)
・Medium, High, Critical
・High, Critical
・Critical

Threat Control

Malware Scan

Defines file types set in the malware scan settings for Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams as malicious.
The following file types can be configured:
・ .exe, .dll, .sys
・ .iso
・ .lzh, .lha
・ .rar
・ .zip
・ .pdf
・ .docx, .docm, .dotx
・ .doc, .dot
・ .rtf
・ .xlsx, .xlsm, .xlsb
・ .xls
