Table of Contents
1. Overview
HENNGE Cloud Protection is a cloud service that protects information on Microsoft 365 from malicious content and URLs.
Information on Microsoft 365 includes data managed by Exchange Online functions, such as emails, tasks, calendar schedules, contacts, and sticky notes.
1.1. Malware Block
Scan harmful content in real-time and isolate viruses, trojans, ransomware, and other advanced malware.
1.2. URL Protection
Real-time scanning of information on Microsoft 365, confirming the reputation of URLs in the body with HENNGE Cloud Protection.
If the site of the linked URL is deemed malicious, the corresponding item can be isolated, deleted, or the URL can be disabled.
1.3. Compromised Account Detection
If the email address and password combination of a specific account is leaked, there is a risk of third-party intrusion into the organization, leading to phishing, ransomware attacks, and impersonation for information access within the organization.
HENNGE Cloud Protection's compromised account detection monitors user email addresses from external sources and notifies if the compromised account is publicly disclosed.
It also provides information on the severity of the compromise and the potential misuse of those accounts.
1.4. Scan Inbox Rules
Outlook's Inbox rules automatically detect malicious actions set for incoming emails.
Attackers, after gaining access to the mailbox, create rules for the Inbox, performing various types of attacks such as automatic forwarding or deletion of emails.
The scan function for Inbox rules analyzes all Inbox rules in the mailbox, helping to detect suspicious rules that may indicate a compromise of the account.
It can also notify the mailbox owner and administrators to take action.
1.5. Limitations
Shared mailboxes on Exchange Online can also be protected by HENNGE Cloud Protection.
Shared mailboxes allow multiple users to share mailboxes on Exchange Online (Microsoft 365), and they can be created beyond the license count.
HENNGE Cloud Protection can protect shared mailboxes up to twice the number of licenses for HENNGE One you have subscribed to.
Please note that shared mailboxes beyond twice the license count of HENNGE One cannot be protected by HENNGE Cloud Protection.
(HENNGE One licenses are contracted in the same number as Microsoft 365 licenses.)
For example, if you purchase 100 licenses for Exchange Online (Microsoft 365), with HENNGE One also having 100 licenses, you can protect up to 200 shared mailboxes.
※ Handling of HENNGE Cloud Protection licenses is subject to the terms and conditions of WithSecure. The above information is as of October 2023 and is subject to change without notice.
