Details

You can now omit password settings when creating a user from the Admin Console.

This feature can be used in the following cases:

Have users set their own password using the self-password reset feature

  Administrators can omit the trouble of distributing temporary passwords to users.
  Users can use the self-password reset feature to set their own desired password.

Using passwordless certificates

  If a user only uses a "passwordless device certificate" that does not require password input, you can omit the password setting procedure.
  Both administrators and users can set a password later.

Notes

1. Currently, this feature can be used when creating users from the Admin Console.
2. We will inform you of the implementation of this feature for the bulk registration function using CSV files in a separate release article.
