Question
When downloading the agent with HENNGE Connect, the security software identified it as "grayware."
Is this a problem?
Answer
HENNGE Connect is sometimes detected as "grayware" by security products due to its design, but it is not malicious software.

Design Philosophy
The reason this product is detected as grayware by security software is due to the nature of its functions.
This product is "tunneling software" that establishes a securely encrypted dedicated communication path (tunnel) between the user's computer and an external host computer.
Due to this characteristic, the product is intentionally designed to be detected as potentially unwanted software (PUA) or grayware as an intermediate security measure, allowing it to be quickly identified and recognized through security products if installed in unintended situations, and easily removed.
Security
This product uses industry-standard "publisher certificates" and "application certificates" to publicly certify the developer and security of the application itself.
Security products do not detect this product as malicious "malware."
