Question
When attempting an action on a file, the message "You do not have a role directly added to the file. Please check the source of the role from the file details." appears, and I cannot perform the action.
Answer
In each groupware, the sharing scope of a parent folder also affects child folders and child files (hereafter referred to as child items).
In File DLP, a parent folder with a higher role is referred to as the "role inheritance source."
Additionally, if the parent folder, which is the role inheritance source, is shared in this way, actions such as stopping the publication of only child items cannot be performed from File DLP due to the influence of the role sharing source.
Therefore, if you want to perform actions such as changing the role on child items, please review the sharing scope of the parent folder, which is the role inheritance source.
[Example] Stopping the publication of "File 1-a"
In the following case, "File 1-a," "File 1-b," and "File 1-c" are affected by the sharing scope of "Folder 1," which is the role inheritance source, so individual actions cannot be performed on single items.
If you want to stop the publication of "File 1-a," first open the file details from the file list of the file you want to act on (File 1-a), click on the role inheritance source (Folder 1), and review the sharing scope.
