Target
- Customers federated with Entra ID (Microsoft 365)
- Customers synchronizing users between Entra ID and Access Control
Overview
The UserPrincipalName (UPN) of Access Control users can now be edited.
You can edit it from either the Administration or via CSV.
With this release, it is no longer necessary to delete a user from Access Control and create a new user with the updated UPN value when changing a user's UPN.
As a result of this change, you will not need to recreate users, and therefore device certificates and Secure Browser settings associated with the user will not need to be reissued or reconfigured, making it easier to handle UPN changes.
This feature will be gradually released during the following period:
Start: Thursday, January 15, 2026
End: Friday, January 30, 2026
Notes
- You cannot change the "Username".
If you wish to change the Username, you will still need to recreate the user (delete the user and then create a new user with the updated value) as before.
