Contents
Starting the 5th week of March 2026, we will begin providing a new login screen.
The menu will be reflected across all tenants during April 1st.
This article introduces the purpose of the change and an overview of the new login experience.
*When the new login screen becomes available, the screen will not be forcibly changed, and you can continue to use the current login screen.
*The end date for the legacy login screen is stated at the end of this article.
Purpose of the Renewal
The purpose of renewing the login screen consists of the following 3 points.
This will allow us to achieve both a comfortable user experience and high security.
For a concrete image of the login process, please refer to System Changes .
- To respond swiftly to the latest security threats
- To update the infrastructure, allowing flexible implementation and provision of advanced new features planned for the future
- To provide Access Control users with an intuitive and simple login experience
System Changes
The 4 system changes are as follows:
- Easy-to-understand screens for each step
The design ensures that users will not be confused about what to do next, as there is only one operation per screen. - Remembering Login IDs
For subsequent logins, accounts remembered by the browser will be displayed, so you can start the login flow simply by clicking your account.
*You can choose whether or not to have the browser remember your Login ID.
When multiple users use a shared PC (shared profile), please do not let the browser remember the Login ID.
- Dynamic Determination of Authentication Flow
Based on the entered user information, the system automatically determines the user's access policy (password, certificate, etc.) and prompts the user for the next action. - Common Login URL
We are changing to a method where all users use the same Login URL.
The new URL is as follows:
https://ap.ssso.hdems.com
Operational Changes
The main user experience improvements from this update are as follows:
- No more confusion with operations
Because the login flow will be similar to Google and Microsoft 365, the burden of learning new operations is reduced.
*Until now, the "Certificate Login button" coexisted with the "Username/Password input form and regular Login button" on the initial login screen, which often caused confusion.
From now on, all users will always start logging in by entering their own Login ID. - Subsequent logins require "just selecting"
You only manually enter your Login ID the first time.
For the second and subsequent times, you can quickly proceed with logging in just by selecting the account saved in the browser. - Freedom from URL management
Because the Login URL is common, you no longer need to keep track of a "company-specific URL."
Notes on this Update
- Impact on end users: If you log in using an employee ID or similar, the new login screen requires input in the format of a "UPN or Email address" that includes the domain.
- Impact on administrators: It is necessary to notify users that the starting login page and login method will change.
-
If you have registered FQDNs (URLs) on the allowlist of your proxy server or firewall, you need to allow communication from the FQDNs listed in the following article.
Reference: HENNGE One Supported Environments
To prevent communication from being blocked and to ensure you can log in, please check the latest information and take the necessary actions.
* The following FQDN has been added with the release of the new login screen.*.verify.ssso.hdems.com
To customers using Secure Browser
Due to internal system changes, the Secure Browser app versions that can use the new login screen are as follows:
- Android: 3.5.0
- iOS: 4.0.0
- Windows / Mac OS: 3.3.13
*To use the new login screen on a version older than the above, the app must be updated.
*For Android, please set the default web browser to Chrome.
It may not operate properly on browsers other than Chrome.
