[Mesh Network] Client Installation Procedure (Linux Server)

Description

• This article explains how to install the client and log in for Mesh Network admins.

Notes

1. Mesh Network admin privileges are required to view the actual screens or make changes to the settings.
2. At the initial login, only the initial admin registered at the time of application can log in to Mesh Network.
3. The content of this article is based on the product specifications as of August 2026 and is subject to change without notice.

Procedure

1. Access the Mesh Network login screen from the URL below and log in with your admin user.
   https://login.hennge.runetale.com
2. After logging in to the Administration, go to [Machines] - [Resources] and click [Add New Resource].
   

3. Enter the OS type and resource name, then click [Issue Compose Key].
   *The Compose Key is an identifier for managing Linux servers as resources on Mesh Network.

   Select OS	The server OS where the client will be installed	*The command will change depending on the specified OS. *macOS is not supported and is not covered by the operation guarantee.
   Resource name	Specify the name of the server to be registered.	－
   Allow key reuse	Setting to allow the Compose Key to be reused	You can register multiple servers with the same key. *Please note that using the Compose Key generated in this procedure allows participation in Mesh Network.
   Key validity period	Validity period of the Compose Key 30 days (default) 60 days 90 days	－
   Key description	Memo regarding the issued key	－

4. When you click [Issue Compose Key], the Compose Key will be generated and the installation/verification command can be copied.
   
5. Connect to the Linux server and launch the shell.
6. Copy and execute the installation/verification command (deploy.sh) generated in step 4 to install Runetale.
   

7. Verify successful installation with the following two commands.
   If installed correctly, the client version information (X.X.XX) will be returned.

   Command 1

   runetale version

   Command 2

   runetaled version

8. When the command completes successfully, the connection will be established and registration will be complete.
   

9. Run the following command to start Runetale.

   runetale up

10. When you run [ip addr] on the server, you can confirm that the Runetale virtual network adapter has been created and an IP address has been assigned.
