How to check if HENNGE Directory Sync Tool Version Update is Required

1. Background

This procedure is for customers to check if the HENNGE Directory Sync Tool installation update is required in the customer's current environment.
For customers who met all of the following requirements, please perform the outlined procedure by the end of the 2020 March.

2. Precautions

  • To perform the following procedure, the Admin account of the HENNGE Access Control is required.
  • To perform the installation update for the HENNGE Directory Sync Tool on the Windows Server, the admin account on the server is required.

3. Procedures

Please confirm if your environment matches the following conditions for the version update of the HENNGE Directory Sync Tool.

  • Customer is using HENNGE Access Control
  • User information synchronization is using HENNGE Directory Sync Tool to synchronize user information from Windows Active Directory onto the cloud.
  • HENNGE Directory Sync Tool is version ver. 1.x.x (e.g. 1.3.2)

Please perform the [ 3-1. Checking whether HENNGE Directory Sync Tool is installed and running ] first to check if your company is utilizing the HENNGE Directory Sync Tool to synchronize user information and password information.
If you are already certain that your company is using the HENNGE Directory Sync Tool, step 3-1 will not be necessary.
