New Release : HENNGE Email DLP (New infrastructure) June 2020 (Improved Directory Synchronization for Microsoft 365)

for Office 365

We are pleased to announce an update to HENNGE Email DLP (New Infrastructure), which released in June 2020.

For the Directory Synchronization (Group Synchronization) feature, it is now possible to include Microsoft 365 group address itself in the synchronization of an address group.

The synchronization between "Microsoft 365 Group" and "HENNGE Email DLP address group" used to apply only to email addresses registered in groups, but not to the group addresses themselves.
Please note that shared mailboxes will continue to be excluded from the group sync function.

E.g.,
The users "user1@hennge.one" and "user2@hennge.one" are members of the email-enabled security group "group_support@hennge.one".

- Before: Only "user1@hennge.one" and "user2@hennge.one" were synchronized to the HENNGE Email DLP group address.
- Now: In addition to "user1@hennge.one" and "user2@hennge.one", "group_support@hennge.one" can be synchronized to the HENNGE Email DLP address group if the option is enabled.

You can enable the option by checking the "Sync Directory Group Addresses into address group" checkbox on the detail screen of the "Define Address Groups" setting.
