Update to HENNGE Secure Browser Desktop (macOS)

The user using HENNGE Secure Browser (white logo) / HDE Secure Browser (black logo) for PC in macOS is this article's target.

Purpose

This article guides you updating to HENNGE Secure browser Desktop (Version 3.X.XXX) which is latest version for PC, from HENNGE Secure Browser (white logo) / HDE Secure Browser (black logo) for PC.

Cautions

1. With this update, the device authentication information will be automatically transferred, so there is no need for the administrator to re-authenticate the device. But if you are using the version before HENNGE Secure Browser 2.0.XXX (white logo) / HDE Secure Browser 2.0.XXX (black logo) for PC, it can't be automatically transferred the device authentication information.

2. Please uninstall the current HENNGE Secure Browser 2.0.XXX (white logo) / HDE Secure Browser 2.0.XXX (black logo) for PC at the end of the procedure.

3. The screen display may differ depending on the OS, version, and model of the device you are using.

Steps

1. Install HENNGE Secure Browser Desktop

1.1. Please make sure that the current HENNGE Secure Browser (white logo) / HDE Secure Browser (black logo) for PC has been quit。

* The screen shows the HENNGE Secure Browser (2.0.XXX, white logo) for PC.

1.2. Access here, and select OS as "macOS". And then download the file to the directory you preferred.

1.3. Double-click the downloaded file to launch it, and follow the on-screen instructions to copy [ HENNGE Secure Browser Desktop ] to the Applications folder.

2. Update to HENNGE Secure Browser Desktop

2.1. Start the HENNGE Secure Browser Desktop (blue logo) and check if the HENNGE Access Control login screen appears. And please make sure you can login.

※ If your administrator's app policy requires you to enter a passcode, enter the passcode you set in the HENNGE Secure Browser (white logo) / HDE Secure Browser (black logo) for PC which is using before the update.

※ If you see the authentication window after started HENNGE Secure Browser Desktop (blue logo), please contact to your administrator.

2.2. Launch the HENNGE Secure Browser (white logo) / HDE Secure Browser (black logo) for PC and verify that the device credentials have been cleared and initialized.

* The screen shows the HENNGE Secure Browser (2.0.XXX, white logo) for PC.

2.3. Uninstall HENNGE Secure Browser (white logo) / HDE Secure Browser (black logo) for PC.
