Question:
Are image files embedded in the message body subject to ZIP Encryption or Secure Download processing?
Answer:
Image files embedded in the message body are not subject to ZIP Encryption or URL conversion by Secure Download in our filter service.
* To accommodate company logos and image files included in signatures, our service is designed not to apply ZIP Encryption or Secure Download URL conversion to these images.
HENNGE Secure Download for Box behaves in the same way.
Additionally, when using Google Workspace, it is now possible to drag and drop image files directly into the message body in the new Gmail interface.
If you attach images using the above method, the images will be forcibly embedded in the message body.
* This applies only to image files; files such as ".txt" are not affected.
If you want image files to be subject to ZIP Encryption or Secure Download, please select the image files using the "Attach" button.
