Please let me know the precautions when using Secure Download for Box.
Answer
The following precautions should be noted.
・To use this feature, a Box Business Plus or higher subscription is required, and the user must have a Box user license agreement.
・The setup of the connection with Box must be performed by the customer.
・If the connection setup cannot be performed as expected or if an error occurs, in case of an issue specific to the customer environment, the customer may be asked to contact Box support.
・When using Secure Download for Box, a maximum of 20 files can be attached at once, and if the limit is exceeded, the files cannot be sent.
・With Secure Download for Box, the maximum email size, including the email body, is 35 MB.
・Regarding the API call limit (rate limiting), if the overall Box rate limit is exceeded, the API call count will not be included in the billing. You can refer to Box Global Rate Limits for further details.
・You cannot view sent files from the Box user interface.
However, you can download them from the file history in the Email DLP user interface.
・The files sent via Secure Download for Box can be checked from the Box admin panel.
A folder is created for each sender address, and the attached files are stored for each sent email.
・The number of downloads for the files sent via Secure Download for Box cannot be checked.
・If a collaborator is added to Box's content sharing, the collaborator can make changes within the folder.
