- Customers who have completed the connection between Email DLP and Google Workspace
Purpose
- To confirm that the connection between Email DLP and Google Workspace is correctly completed and that the filters are operating according to requirements.

Procedure
Preparation
- Send test emails from Google Workspace to internal and external addresses.
Google Workspace Confirmation Procedure
- Access the Google Workspace Admin Console.
- From the left menu, access [Reporting] - [Email Log Search].
- Specify the search period and other criteria in the search screen, and select [Search].
Enter other conditions as needed. - Select the test email sent to internal addresses from the search results.

Open [Recipient Details] and confirm that it has not been forwarded to Email DLP.
Confirm that Email DLP has not been applied in [Matched Rules].If it was forwarded to Email DLP, uncheck [Internal - Send] in the forwarding settings.

[Email DLP] Connection Work (Google Workspace) - Return to the search screen and select the test email sent to external addresses from the search results.

Open [Recipient Details] and confirm that it has been forwarded to Email DLP.
Confirm that Email DLP has been applied in [Matched Rules].
Once confirmed, proceed to "Email DLP Confirmation Procedure".If it was not forwarded to Email DLP, please check if there are any errors in the connection procedure.

Email DLP Confirmation Procedure

Access the Email DLP administration screen and go to [History] - [History] from the left menu.

Search by any date from the search box in the upper right and confirm that only test emails sent to external addresses are displayed, and emails sent to internal addresses are not displayed.

Open the details of the test email sent to external addresses and confirm that the intended filters, actions, and rules are applied.
Change conditions such as with/without attachments according to your requirements and confirm.
DKIM Settings Confirmation
- Check the test email received on the receiving side and confirm from the header whether DKIM verification is successful.
Please confirm that the DKIM item is pass at Google Admin Toolbox Messageheader.
If DKIM is in test mode, it will display as pass(test mode).

How to Obtain Message Source - Once DKIM verification is successful, remove "t=y;" from the TXT Record added to the DNS server in [Email DLP] Tenant Settings - DKIM Settings.
Please ensure there are no line breaks or extra spaces in the TXT Record when making corrections.
