Detailed Procedure and Explanation
1.1. Send a test email from Microsoft 365 to an internal or external recipient.
2. Microsoft 365 Verification Steps
2.1. Access the [Microsoft 365 Admin Center].
2.2. Select [Exchange] from the left menu.
2.3. Select [Mail Flow] → [Message Trace] from the left menu.
2.4. Select [Start a trace].
2.5. Enter the address from which you sent the test email in [Sender] and click [Search].
Enter any other conditions as needed.
2.6. Select the test email for internal recipients from the search results.
2.7. In the [Status] column, confirm that it has not been forwarded to HENNGE Email DLP.
Check that it does not mention "[Connector Name: HENNGE Email DLP]."
2.8. Go back to the search screen and select the test email for external recipients from the search results.
2.9. In the [Status] column, confirm that it has been forwarded to HENNGE Email DLP.
Check that it mentions "[Connector Name: HENNGE Email DLP]." If it is not forwarded to HENNGE Email DLP, please verify the connection procedure for any errors.

3. HENNGE Email DLP Verification Steps
3.1. Access the management screen of HENNGE Email DLP.
The URL for the management screen of HENNGE Email DLP includes your main domain for your environment.
Replace the [Main Domain] part in the following URL with your main domain.
If your main domain is "example.com," the URL will be like this.
3.2. Select [Filters] → [History].
3.3. Search for any date from the upper-right search box and confirm that only test emails to external recipients are displayed, and there are no emails to external recipients.
3.4. Open the details of the test email to external recipients and confirm that the intended filters, actions, and rules are applied.
Depending on your requirements, change conditions such as whether there are attachments or not.
